I'm not sure on the exact times for the GLT vs. the T5, and they both can vary considerably depending on what magazine or what test drive report you decide to read. But in general I think that the GLT would run 0-60 around 7 seconds, and the T-5 in the mid-sixes.

As far as technical differences, to put it simply, the T5 has a larger turbo, leading to greater turbo lag, but also a greater kick once the boost is on. So the GLT could pull across the intersection, but the T5 will take over by the time you reach the next stoplight...
