Klaus,

Without looking at my car I am fairly certain that that line goes along the front crossmember and turns rearward near the accessories. It continues on ( to points unknown to me) under the engine and basically runs parallel to the fuel lines coming forward. Only reason I know this is because that line kept getting in my way during my engine swap... I think we are talking about the same thing anyways...
