I think this sound might be coming from the electric servo mechanism that adjusts air inflow in the colder temperatures. It is in the throttle box somewhere. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner on mine and goes away in 30-45 sec. I read on this board that this might be a source of the noise.

I need to look into that just to make sure.
