ABS and TRACS dash lights. 850 96

Driving home late last night, the ABS and Traction control dash board lights came on. The car, a '96 R wagon, has only 26K miles on it. I just bought it, and I'm supposed to drive from CT to Boston tomorrow. When I turned off the car and then started it again, the lights were out. ANy thoughts? THanks.
