I just bought a 2006 v50 T5, I had considered the v70, but it seemed big to me. Driver comfort is excellent and the car drives like a solid sports car. Yes, the rear cargo is a bit small, depends on how much and how offer you really carry loads if this would be an issue to you. I drive mostly alone or with one passenger , the back seat seems more than adequate for an average sized person unless you are on a cross country trip.
