I was told to turn the key from off to ignition 5 times quickly, then the dash led will flash rapidly. Push the lock (or the unlock) button, on the remote, the led will change frequency briefly, then turn the key off.

This got my '97 850 working to lock the car, but both buttons lock the car, I can't get it to unlock. Let me know if you have any success, or advise for my problem.
