Correcting Odometer mileage after gear replacement 850 1994

Appreciate the dialog and advice. Used the pencil eraser and drill method to correct the mileage. I replaced both the 12 tooth gear and the pod gear. I left the old pod gear in when I used the pencil and drill. That seemed to work pretty good and kept any debris out of the odometer. Post repair operation, all looks well and seems to function normally. Only time will tell. Thanks and happy motoring.
