really dead battery 850

Sometimes a battery can be so dead that it forgets that it is a battery. Then it may need to be jolted back to life with a really high blast of charge for a short time, after which it can be slow charged to completion. I suggest you stop by a place that really specializes in batteries and see they can do it for you at reasonable cost. If not, and you have a high capacity charger, you might be able to shock it back to life yourself. I have a charger that will put out 125 amps for a short time, and have had it work for that situation, but I suspect the professional models do a better job.
