Silicone Seals on Oil & Tranny Cooler lines into Radiator 850 1997

Had to replace a leaking Nissens radiator that I replaced in February. I went with an OEM this time and hope it holds. The silicone seals on the two oil cooler lines and the two tranny cooler lines were brittle and falling apart. I didn't have replacements, so I used o-rings made of nitrile.

So far, so good. no leaks. I did replace the small O-rings that go onto the slot and are inserted into the radiator fittings.

Should I order silicone seals or has anyone have suggestions or another solution?

Thanks
