Correcting Odometer mileage after gear replacement 850 1994

It really doesn't matter until you sell the car, if you are honest. While the cluster is out and the odo is exposed, why not sync it? Remember, 1993-1995 850's have easily read computers.

I once looked at a 1995 854T with advertised mileage at 87K. The seats looked in really bad shape for such little mileage so I asked the private seller if I could check the computer. The internal odo was 240K!!! The private seller had no idea as he had bought the car 9 months prior.
