Front or rear? Not too difficult in either case. For the fronts, you will need a 7mm? Allen head socket to get the guide pins out of the caliper (as well as silicone brake grease for when you put them back and for the sliding surfaces between the pads and the caliper). Getting the anti-rattle spring back on can be an exercise in frustration (a third hand really helps). No shims on the fronts. Replacing the rotors is easy.

For the back brakes it helps to have a small drift to knock the guide pins out. The caliper only has to come off if you are replacing rotors. Factory rear pads have shims, which you can re-use. Replacing the rear rotors is more challenging because the parking brake assembly is inside and needs to be backed off before pulling the rotor or you will destroy the hardware. This is done through a very small hole in the rotor face.

I always end up replacing rotors because of poor condition rather than minimum thickness, but I live in the rust belt.
