My first question would have to be this. You waxed the car five times but did you ever remove the old wax or did you just keep putting more on? If so then thats your problem. Its a common misconception that wax wears off and eventually theres none left on the car. While this is partially true, its also partially incorrect. The wax does wear off in time but normal application intervals (6 months) are not long enough to allow for all the wax to go away. You always have a bit left. Adding more is okay to a point but only to a point. Eventually you get too much wax on the car causing an ugly haze that refuses to go away no matter how much you buff it. This also causes really nasty swirls, runs, and streaks after a trip through the carwash. EVERY time you wax your car you should first remove the old wax. The best way I've found to do this is with Meguirs #2 fine cut cleaner. Works just like wax except you work a bit harder. Rub it on, buff it off once it hazes up. That gets rid of the old wax. Then put whatever you want on the car. My experience is that Turtle wax emerald series, mothers, and zymol work best with Zymol at the top, mothers at the bottom from a standpoint of best finish and longest life
