Wierd electrical problem-wiring harness? 850 1996

Early Saturday evening, after getting my car back from detailing, which including steam cleaning of the engine, neither the speedometer nor the turn signals worked, and also the Tracs and ABS warning lights were on. There may have been other problems I just didn't notice at the time because it was daylight. I went ahead and drove it a few miles (probably not a very good idea but it was close to home). The next time I started it about an hour later, it was the same way but then after a couple minutes everything started working normally. Does this sound like a loose and/or waterlogged wiring harness connector? If so, does anyone have any idea where the connector might be located so I can take it apart and clean it? Could it be a computer problem as well?
