LED - Better trunk lighting 850

The standard trunk light is a 10 Watt SV8.5 which does a poor lighting job,
and uses the bulk of it's energy it seems, making heat...ask me how I know.

I replaced that "Festoon" bulb with this: Lots more light with half the current drain:

There's some other tempting options there if you search: "Car LED" &
"Festoon 44mm". Some claim nearly the same "lm" (Lumens) with lower current draw.

It's easy to put in by dropping the rear seat backs making it easy to get at,
take a small screwdriver and pop out the lamp assy. There's a little metal
part or the spring holder that needed a little tweak to fit the new lamp in right.
and remember that LEDs are polarized and work one way only. (They can be installed backwards)
