Airbox Thermostat Removal S70 98

After reading a few posts and trips to other websites, it is suggested that one can remove the assembly on my s70 which pipes hot air from around the exhaust manifold up to the airbox to only allow unheated air for the engine intake.

1) Has anyone else done this to their S70 / 850's

2) If you did - do you think it was worthwhile at all?

On a related note, my airbox as a whole seems a bit loose - I can see one of the mounting nuts, but someone sound off as to how many and what size sockets I need.

Thanks for any info-

Chris
