leather steering wheel retrofit S40-V40 2001

Hello,

We just bought a 2001 V40 and love it but it does not have the leather steering wheel. What do you guys think of buying one from a wrecked one (rim only with exploded airbag), marrying it to the airbag in my car and mounting it on the car? Not to be done by me, but a mechanic or Volvo shop.

The other (cheaper) option would be to get a Wheelskin, but while that looks OK, it's not as neat.
