So is something like this even worth taking a look at? The price is certainly right, but I've heard that the 2001 XC70 has many potential problems.

The radiator is leaking, so it needs a new one. But besides that it sounds like a lot of new parts and service have been thrown on the car over the past 1.5 years.

I welcome feedback from all, especially Klaus and anyone with first hand experience owning a 2001 XC70.
