Smoother riding 855T 850 1995

Just an observation. About 8 years ago, faced with replacing my second set of 16" tires on the 855T and not happy with the noise, rough ride and expense of the 16's, I bought a set of new 15" V70 pull-off wheels from ebay for $300.

Since then I've been paying half what I would for 16" tires by putting 205/55x15 on and getting almost twice as much mileage, lighter steering and a much smoother ride. No perceived loss in traction either.

That and Bilstien touring class shocks & struts did a lot to civilize the ride. Now that the Turbo badge, along with the Volvo and 850 badges have fallen off of the liftgate, the only visual clue that it's a turbo is what's left of the rusting square exhaust tip.
