Suggested code reader V70-XC70 2004

Ah, the holy grail of code readers - BSR PPC. No, the company didn't go out of business, it just no longer makes 'cheap' scanners as per Volvo lawyers. I should have purchased one of them eons ago.

Correct, the new scanners that work on all of the systems are now around $1000. But there are some Chinese that load software on a portable PC and include a connector cable for a reasonable price. Then all you have to do is spend about 100 hours trying to figure out all of the options, as everything is there but hidden.

The current crop of hand held scanners only does engine related things, forget the ABS or Tranny.
