Trouble with reverse 850 1995

Transmission is a goner. Flush did nothing and reverse kept getting weaker until now it has no reverse.

Klaus, please elaborate on not pulling the engine to replace the trans. Salvage yards are a gamble for not knowing the condition of a pulled transmission, but if I can locate a known good unit I might look into this.

I'll have to act fast. Wife is already looking at other cars and I did find a '97 850 NA wagon with 160,000 to look at. Asking $2,700.
