2003 XC engine shield under car V70-XC70

My two cents: good that you put it back on. Recently added a 1998 V70 AWD wagon here, car is missing its skid plate/belly pan/engine shield. Am making my own low-cost version with a 4'x4' black durable plastic sheet and cedar 2"x2"s rather than buying new or aftermarket.

Did something similar years ago with the then-damaged eng. shield on my 1990 740 T wagon. Still on the car and working fine years later.

Keeps a lot of if not all of the road crud water snow slush salt etc. from flying up into the engine compartment.
