UPDATE - 1998 C70 Coupe C70

I have been driving the car for over a month now and it has been great.
The most recent owner seems to have taken good care of the car and it seems to have had the major maintenance items addressed already.

I am in the process of doing some 0 mile maintenance on the fluids, mostly just to start getting familiar with the world of front wheel drive Volvos.

I changed the oil last weekend and that went fine.
Checked the auto transmission fluid level and it is perfect. I will be changing the fluid.

I have noticed that either ATF or Power Steering fluid is dripping on my driveway. It is definitely pink/red and not motor oil. The rear main seal seems dry and there is no evidence of excess crankcase pressure or leaking seals.

I need to take a look at all the hoses. A few of the hoses with metal fittings on the end seem to be dripping a little. Not quite sure if the pink/red fluid leak is related to one of these hoses.

The only other issue is the dash. It's loose when I go over bumps and makes some noise. Probably has broken plastic clips where it is mounted. A long term project will be to pull a S70 or V70 dash, reinforce the mounting points, and get it in there.

Overall, seems like a very well made car and the seats are so comfy.

Tom
