hi sages on the 850 fwd- you good folks helped me with attachment bolt removal on left rear caliper. tried various methods to remove the siezed brake line fitting which goes into the caliper.wrench points rounded by the 11mm wrench. want to remove the caliper since i suspect pistons are not releasing fast enough. looks old and rusted. also want to inspect the brake shoes and mechanism inside the hat which requires removalof the caliper. here is the issue: plan is to use vise grip to force the brake line nut lose. possible in doing this that the line and/or nut will be ruined. if so will have to replace the line. think i can get cupro line with bubble flares and line nuts already there from carquest stock. problem is the other end is nutted into a splitter fitting on the wheel support frame which i cant get enough leverage on with a 11mm flare wrench. if i have toreplace theline because the nut or line gets ruined at the caliper end, im thinking it would be better to cut the line at the nut and work the nut with a ratchet and extension with a 6point 11mm socket which would give a better grip than a flare wrench or a 12 point socket. what do you think. working in the driveway with the left rear jacked up and secured with a jackstand(when i become rich i will acquire an overhead lift). thanks tons oldduke
