You don't see any rusted Volvo brake lines eh?
I think they're bronze.
You can get a brake line double flare tool kit from Harbor Freight or Sears or
Craigs List. Then Just make up a junction with a new hunk of brake line and
one those union fittings. I did that in my 740 when the tranny cooler line snapped when replacing the radiator. I didn't want to buy the expensive line at the dealer, since I'm WAY cheaper than Klaus, and I didn't want to scrounge around in the driveway underneath because basic lazyness crept in when I wasn't looking, so You just need a short handled tubing cutter or a hacksaw if you're too poor. and that flare kit. Cut the critter where it's easy to work.
If you've never used a flare tool, buy a longer brakeline so you can practice.
You'll fix that thing up, faster than you can say "Shoot a Lobbyist!"
Maybe saw off that fitting at the caliper and coax it into submission at the bench vise., Heat? & the BFH to the rescue. Do the Genuine Marvel Mystery oil soak ahead of time, a few days is better than a few minutes.
It takes longer to write it up than it does to heat it a little and give it the
authoritative smack to get it loose.
