S70 steering rack play S70

Hi everyone,
I have a 2000 S70 GLT with 292 K miles. The other day when I was putting on my winter wheels and tires I noticed some play in the front left coming from what appeared to be the inner tie rod. I checked this with the tire on, grabbing it at 3 and 9 o'clock. After replacing the inner and outer left tie rod today the play is still there. It's not a lot but is noticeable. No weird tire wear either. My question is would it be possible for something else in the rack to be worn? The rack does not leak any fluid at all and the boots have never been torn on it. The right side doesn't seem to have this play in the steering link.

Thanks in advance,
Dave
