Car slips while in park, forward or backwards S70 1998

I have a '98 V70 that does the same thing. I'm guessing the previous owner broke it as I always use the park brake to help take the stress off of the trans. That being said I only paid $800 for this car and have been driving for around 3 years with the parking paw broken. I just watch how/where I park it so it doesn't roll.
