Re: Vibration from front end 850 1995

Have you got oval tyres? This happened to me once on my VW Golf GTi. brand new Bridgestone SF350 Fronts. Long trip 400km, can't remember if i pushed the car. on the return journey, the vibratiuons started and progressively got worse. later discovered my brand new tyres had turned oval!

this happens when the steel belt/s inside slip due to excessive heat.

just lift the car up on a jack, spin a front wheel and bring a ruler to the top of the tyre, if it's oval it'll rub the ruler at points.

best of luck.
