Where can I purchase piston rings for a ’96 850 non-turbo? 850 1996

Hello All,

My 1996 850 GLT wagon (5 speed manual) may have to have the engine rebuilt. Volvo still sells the pistons and valves, but doesn’t sell the piston rings. When it did, it sold them in a kit which cost approximately $55.00 per piston.

Can anyone recommend a source where I could obtain quality piston rings? Or better yet a source that sells the pistons and piston rings together, or complete package that would include pistons, rings, valves and assorted gaskets and hardware required to rebuild the engine. Thanks to all who respond.
