Today I Installed a K&N Air Filter 850 1995

Got it here in Houston from Jay at Martel Brothers for about $36.

Found Martel on the web and was pleasantly surprised to learn they are located in Katy, Texas - right outside of Houston.

A plug? Yes, I was impressed with this family run business, seemed like good folks.

Anyhow, back to the K & N Filter on my 1995 850 Turbo.

All I know is this - this afternoon I kicked dirt in the headlights of a Camaro which was in "race mode".

I will report over time my impressions of the K&N Filter and any possible enhancements to performance.

BTW- After a week since my ATF flush and switch to Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF , I believe my MPG are improving and the transmission appears more responsive under "hard" throttle situations.

Must say, it is delightfull to "blow the doors off' a performance car with a mundane boxy looking 4 door Volvo - eh?
