Oops there goes my torque converter!??? 850 1997

Hi,

Just wanted to give an update. I did check the tranny fluid cold, and it seemed that there was fluid up and beyond the high level, I wiped it, checked again, same thing. I started the car, went through the gears, checked the level again and it was a bit lower it seemed but within the normal range. Not sure what that was all about.

Anyway, I ended up having the tranny replaced. My mechanic found one with about 86k on it. Runs great!

Thank you all for your tips and help.

M
