Why do you blame Volvo? There has been an established problem with the remotes of SOME S60s, S80s and V70 XCs for MY2001. Ther eis a fix for the problem and that is NEW remotes. Have your Retailer order the NEW, upgraded batch of remotes for you and your problems should stop.
