Suspension Noises S40-V40

I have a 2003 Volvo V40 and had the motor mounts replaced and I replaced the struts, control arms, vertical links and stabilizer bushings. I actually did the vertical links twice. The first time I torqued them to specs - but they were flopping around and the second time I tightened them. For the first week there were no noises. Now I am getting a clunk noise. I suspect that it is related to the vertical links and the stabilizer bar. There is no way the stabilizer bar went back into its exact spot. It was very difficult to get all the way to the point that I could replace the bushings so I don't know if I can get to the bolt to loosen them. My thought is to loosen them and run the car and see if the bar goes into its natural position and the clunking will stop. This is probably a pipe dream - but I am out of thoughts. Suggestions?
