Tires 850

Since you already have studded tires do you want summer or all-season tires? If you are keeping your studded tires the summer tires might just be the ticket. Especially if you are interested in performance.

BTW - I've driven the MXV4's for 4 winters on the Cape (including this doozy) and they have been fine for me. I do live on a hill but not a steep one... :) I even travel to the White Mountains in winter sometimes. Careful what I do up there, however! They aren't very good on sheer ice on an incline. Short of serious winter conditions the Michelin's are a pretty terrific tire that have a lot of virtues.

Tire shopping certainly isn't a picnic. Have you done any research on websites like Tirerack? Maybe that will help. Hey, good luck with whatever you decide.
