Closing in on problem but its still a problem S80 2005

Thank you for your note. It seems that my fuel pressure at 42 psi is low (56 psi is the norm ) and that it should be higher. I had the error code pulled and it kicked up a code that says that the problem is either the fuel pump or a part I didn't know existed which is this : https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-fuel-pump-control-module-30742823, a fuel pump control module or it is both parts failing. I'm betting on the fuel pump unless someone tells me these modules are prone to failure. The fuel pump is typically near the end at 133k miles in Volvos. But these new models are over-engineered. I'll go looking for more information
