Stalling at low rpm....... air mass issue V70-XC70

Ok last fall I driving home in traffic the car would stall when I was in stop and go trafficit threw the code for air mas meter, I unplugged the air mass meter and the car ran fine(I know gas millage may suffer) 2 months ago I put in a rebuilt one from autozone and it started stalling again so I assumed it a faulty rebuild.

I put in a volvo one over the weekend and it is still stalling but doesn't throw the code? Un plug it and it runs fine. Any body have any Ideas?
