P1171 code V70-XC70 2001

All right. I purchased a code scanner and found a manufacturer's code of P1171 which equals to "Manufacturer's controlled fuel and air metering"
Question:
does this mean I need to go to the dealer for a software download?
does this mean I have a problem with the Mass air flow sensor, O2 sensor, or fuel injectors?
does this mean I only need to change the air filter or fuel filter?

anyone out there have an idea?
Thanks in Advance
