ABS light on 850 1995

95 850 T-5R. The ABS and TRACS light were both on so I pulled codes from the OBD1 ports. I got a code indicating the the brake pedal position sensor was faulty, which I know is a common solder issue on these cars. I ended up replacing the sensor with one from a identical parts car I have because I don't have a soldering tool. Now when I start the car, the ABS light flickers for a second then stays on but I'm not getting any fault codes from the OBD1. Any thoughts as to why the light is on but not getting any codes? Any thoughts or insight would be appreciated.
