If your car is a turbo, copper core plugs are best. In the back of the owner's manual is list of 2 plugs that will fit your car, one being Volvo's brand.

Your problem may not be just plugs, it could be the coils. Before setting P0300, multiple misfire, you should also get codes P0301-305. Those are for individual misfires, cyl #1 - #5. Find out which cylinders are not working correctly, and swap coils with those that are working. If the P030x moves to a former good cylinder, then the coil that was moved is not working correctly.
