Ouch! How much of it is left? You've got one strong tike there!

You are probably looking at purchasing a new stalk.

Start with disconnecting the battery so as to prevent accidental air bag release. Release the telescope/tilt adjuster and pull the wheel away from the dash as far as possible. The remove four screws on the bottom side of the steering column and remove the upper and lower shrouds. The stalk is held on by two screws (at the top and the bottom). Disconnect the wiring connector and remove the stalk. Bolt the new one in, connect the wiring, reinstall the shrouds, voila.

It's actually a quick job. Should take less then 1/2 hour.
