Re: Diagnostic procedure for SRS code 2-3-2? 850 1995

Volvo has a special tool to plug in in place of the seat belt pretensioner. The tool is conected and you try to clear the code. If the code clears, the seatbelt is replaced. If not, the wiring between the seat belt and SRS crash sensor has to be inspected. You really need the Volvo SRS manual and the tool. By the way, the tool is cheap, and can be used to diagnose seat belt pretensioners and both air bags. NEVER us an ohm meter to test the air bag or seat belt leads with the bags/belts conected. The meter can deploy the bags/belts. I strongly urge getting the VOLVO manual or a trained tech to look at this system.
