Thinking of Buying a 2002 S60 T5 S60 2002

Klaus,

Thank you. I had confirmed by the dealership today where the car was original sold, that it was regularly serviced per the owner’s manual like clock work till 2009 when it had 60,000 miles. The service dept. said that wasn’t surprising because was the car goes out of warranty, people stop bringing it to the dealer and go to a private garage. The owner brings this Volvo to same private garage that I do.

Interesting, the clutch was replaced at 70,000 miles. I guess the owner can’t resist that 300 hp. I typically get over 175,000 on the clutches of my 850 before the have to be replaced and they only have 168 hp. Of course, maybe it is time for another clutch on this car. I will definitely check out the clutch.

Hugh
