Massive oil dump 850 1995

I was driving and the oil light came on. I drove to a gas station about a km away and checked the dipstick. There was nothing on it so I added a 1 liter bottle of oil. Still nothing. Then I added another. Nothing. After the third liter there was still nothing showing on the dipstick. I started the car to move it a few feet out of the way and a massive amount of oil dumped out. Waiting for a two truck now. Any thoughts?
