Yet another new V70 question

Hi

Just spoke with my dealer. They can put a teflon coating on both the exterior (metallic green titanium paint) and interior (leather) for aoout $400. I have a 4 year old (and a wife who also eats in the car, but i wuold never confess to eating while driving). I am also not big on waxing/washing. So any thoughts on teflon coatings.

On a related note, they can tint the rear window of the wagon for about $300 (40\% tint). Do folks like their tints? do those without wish they had one? Will it make my 4 year old much happier or protect her from sunburn (she has skin that goes with a volvo!)
