high irritating noise, leather treatment and wax? S70 2000

hey there all you volvo lovers.

Our fam just purchased a brand new 2000 glt s70 model and when I started driving it, it made this really high hissing noise that is very very irritating to the years. Anyways, when you have the hood down, you can hear the noise when you kneel down by the front tires. When the hool is up you hear it in the back middle right section. Right behind the engine. I took it to two dealers and they said it needed to be broken in and the other said that it was a normal noise for the engine. However, I now have over 4500 miles on it and I can hear the noise really bad. Also, it has gotton so worse that I can actually hear it when I am taking off. The pitch of it goes higher when I step on the gas pedal. I can't even stroll down the street with my windows down because I can't bear the noise. Also, I'm pretty dang embarressed to drive by my friends because it is very irritating and I don't won't them to see a $37000 car do that.

please help me if you have info. Also, what kind of wax is good for the car and also leather treatment/conditioner?

thanks.

tim
