Assuming you have ECC, push and hold the recirc. button until the leds start to flash. ECC now has timed function activated. Now select recirc and it will stay on between 5-12 minutes depending on outside temp. To go back to non-timer function, push and hold recirc. button again until both led are lit solid. Now when recirc is used, it will stay on until fresh air intake is selected.
