The vibration you described may be the howling sound I heard on my V70.

I brought it in to the dealer and had it repaired under warranty. This is

what was reported.

Customer reports howling noise between 30-35mph under slight acceleration.

Test drove the car and duplicated sound from the transmission final drive

between 30-35mph. Installed vibration damper according service bulletin
