Performed 2nd Compression test need clarification on PCV system S70 1998

I suggest rereading Klaus's comment about worn valve seats. I think the smoke you see is from worn valve seats not rings. My 95 850 with about the same mileage as your S70 does the same thing. It is my understanding that the rings rarely go bad on these engines. A better way to test the rings is to go down a hill with the engine revved to 4000 or more rpm's, hold it there for a minute then let your foot off the gas. If the rings are bad you will see a cloud of smoke. My 850 passed that test...:)
