Bill - thank you for your questions.

I confess that I did not check the EGR line at all. I only replaced Oil Box.

As far as synthetic, I go to Walmart and buy their 10 W 30 weight brand for better protection - I think - in the summertime weather and then will change it over to 5 W 30 as the weather gets colder. The oil filter will be changed very soon, though I cannot give an exact time. Ideas? The same goes for the synthetic oil, since it unplugged some crud. Ideas? In addition to this, I have been changing (flushing) the transmission fluid via the "drain and refill" method. The antifreeze has been changed, as well as the hoses. The bottom radiator hose was a pain but it was changed.

I don't want sympathy; this was just some good "father and son" time together and mechanically I got in over my head with the Oil Box.

We will hopefully get his 850 Wagon in better shape than it is now and maybe even get it ready to go off to college in a few years from now.
