Should you really replace the serpentine belt at 105,000 miles? S60 2002

It is common practice to replace the serp belt when the timing belt is changed. Yours should have been swapped at 105K, so you have a while yet.

This is not an 850 and the belt routing is different. There is no reason that the serp belt shouldn't last for 150K, given that the rollers last that long. Remember, there are no 'teeth' on this belt like on the timing belt so it should last longer.
