Where are crank pulley timing marks? S60 2007

Alschnertz told you correctly. The timing marks are always on the engine side of the pulley. There is only 1 set, the rest of the pulley is clean. Even then, it is most difficult to 'see' anything. Nothing like the red block engines. It is hard to get it 'spot on' because of the visual angle, poor lighting, and distance from the block to the pulley.

You seem to have found the sweet spot with the grooves. It would have been much nicer if Volvo had notched and filled in with a different color metal and made a good mark on the block instead if that blob of metal.
